Okay okay, now let's see.. I'm currently at like page.. 16 of my APH Doujinshi (about Canada), no text or tone yet but yeah.. You know how I said it's going to be a SAD doujinshi and stuff? Oh God, while I am like drawing the doujin, I am like "WHY AM I DOING THIS?!??!" but I continue anyways T__T. Is so sad *weeps* -- well to me, prolly the storyline to some of you might sound stupid or what but alwell!

I'm almost done I think; about 5-6 more pages or something of the sort? Ironically, this is quite short to what I USUALLY do (my chapters for mine comics are at least like 30 pages each or something - the highest was like 72 pages or something XD) but the doujinshi IS based off a song.. A rather short song.. relatively... (it's about 3 minutes) But yeah, after finish drawing the pages, I gotta tone and then add text to it so I guess it'll take a bit longer... After I finish the doujinshi, I'll go back to working on my comic, My Love. Hum, I still need to make that new title page for it...

EDIT: I finished drawing all the pages and now I have to just tone then and text them.

Now onto the funnies (for me at the least)!

So out of all of the APH fanart I have done:



Only Sing Sing (the 2nd last one) and Moe Moe (the last one) seems to give people (I know) mixed feelings.

Interestingly enough, they do not have qualms over America (in Sing Sing) but always over Canada! Is because I always draw him a bit feminine looking!

Let's start with JJ and Jubbs and their Geography lab partner (let's call him Mr. A):

Okay see, for JJ, she apparently just doesn't like the whole fact the Canada (who is male) looks like a female IN ANY WAY, or maybe docile looking -- something about the stereotype of America vs Canada or something in politics (but really, who CARES for politics) -- so she's like "WHY WHY Is he always female looking?!?" to me. She really doesn't understand the whole MOE-NESS of it because she isn't an otaku like me nor has she REALLY watched APH with Canada in it, so yeah, no understanding-ness! And it's hard to EXPLAIN to people WHY if they don't understand but CANADA IS CUTE THE WAY HE IS XD!!

So to like prove a point (whatever that is, I think that Canada looks like a female and no way a male), she started showing the two pictures to Jubs and Mr A during their Geography labtime thingy. Jubs was like "Yeah he does look like a female..." and like little other comment.. ish. And now the really funny part was when JJ decided to show Mr A the two pictures - Mr A who may or may not know that I draw or that I [occasionally] draw males a bit feminine looking. First JJ showed Sing Sing to him and asked, while pointing to Canada, "Does this look like a guy or girl?" And oh how funny the conversation turned out to be:

JJ: Does this look like a guy or a girl?
Mr A: A girl. That's totally a girl.
[JJ, Jubs and me all burst out laughing]
Mr A: What? No really, it looks like a girl.
[More laughter]
[Mr A looks a bit confused]
JJ (to me): See? I told you he looks like a girl. (to Mr A) It's a guy.
Me: But he's awesome like that! Matthew is AWESOME like that!!
Mr A: He totally looks like a girl. (points to the chest area of Canada) There's even some chest there. {I forgot what he REALLY said but it's something about Canada in Sing Sing apparently having breasts}
[JJ with a smug look and me internally face-palming)
Mr A (continues): The clothes are even of a girls'! And look at the figure (points to the legs on Canada)! It even has curves like a girl!
[All three of us laughing some more and Mr A looking VERY confused]
JJ: No, we're not making fun of you [Mr A], it's just I want to show [Miko] that Canada looks like a girl!
Me: You just don't understand!

And yeah so the conversation sortof digressed and stuff after that. Later JJ showed the Moe Moe pictureto Mr A and he said "That looks a guy dressed in girls' clothing" and JJ said to me that that's an improvement.

Well a few things irked me about what people keep assuming about Canada in Sing Sing. First off, HE DOES NOT HAVE BREASTS!! It's so BLOODY flat! Stop imagining stuff that isn't there! All of JJ, Jubs, and Mr A ALL thought there was breasts there but honest to God, THERE ISN'T. Seriously, if anyone HAS noticed, when I do draw females with breasts, they are pretty WELL ENDOWED, whether I try to or not. Even my youngest sister, who is like 14, even noticed that and whenever she needs to tell if a character I draw is a female or male, she just looks at the breast area because I DO [occasionally] draw feminine-looking males (because they are so FUN to draw and I quite like baffling people). For the clothing, like I said before, I DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF IT IS A GIRL'S CLOTHING! Canada is still cute in it so like screw you XD! And as well, he doesn't have curves like a girl! It was just that pose I put him in that MAKES it look like he has curves! *huff huff*

Okay now onto when the two pictures were shown to ~Midbot and ~Shizuko-Kazeru:

Okay so they didn't really have any qualms with Sing Sing really but when I showed them Moe moe.. Oh the hilarity XD.

Middy's reaction was quite... normal? I guess? Her interest is like BL stuff (shounen-ai/yaoi) stuff so she wasn't AS affected. Her response was just "O3O;;;" and other stuff but she didn't react to it as badly as Shizu. God, so hiliarious.
